Mario Armstrong is Chief Content Creator of Mario Armstrong Media, LLC, a technological media company that creates content for all different media outlets; and co-founder of Urban Video Game Academy for Youth, a place where youth become motivated to develop a stronger technological background.

In 2009 Mario launched TechTechBoom,com in 2009, a place where kids are educated on the importance of science, technology, engineering and math.

With appearances on weekly segments for CNN and monthly segments for The Today Show; as host of the only daily technology talk show on SiriusXM Satellite Radio; and featured on the Rachel Ray Show, MPT, PBS, C-Span, TV-One and CNBC, Armstrong has worked in the technology industry for over 12 years.

He was the first Chief Technology Officer for Mayor Martin O’Malley and was also IT Director for the State of Maryland’s Tourism Department. Mario was also selected among one of the 6 Americans to travel to Seoul, Korea to participate in a Technology Delegation.

Mario was awarded an Emmy Award for “Best TV Show Host” in 2011. He has also received leadership and technology awards from various organizations including the Daily Record, The Root 100, Baltimore Business Journal, Career Communications Group, City paper, Beacon Awards, Baltimore Times, Urban League, Rotary Club of Maryland, and the Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland.
