Guy co-founded RedOwl Analytics in December 2011. RedOwl is an enterprise software company that is reinventing governance, security and investigations through advanced analytics and big data. Guy is a passionate entrepreneur with 15 years of experience building software teams to solve some of the world’s most challenging data and integration problems.
RedOwl Analytics was one of three top prize winners of the InvestMaryland Challenge, the state’s inaugural competition for start-up firms. The company plans to use the $100,000 prize to launch more pilot projects as they push toward getting their product to market.Prior to RedOwl, Guy co-founded Berico Technologies, a high-end engineering firm that services the federal government. Berico also incubated, grew, and sold two highly successful spin-outs – BTS, another Baltimore based company, and 42Six Solutions.
Prior to that, he served for nine years as an Army Intelligence officer. Additionally, Guy is a graduate of West Point and Oxford University.
Some of Guy’s other achievements include receiving the National Intelligence Medallion, the nation’s highest award for non-government personnel. He also serves as Chairman of the Commit Foundation, a nonprofit that aids transitioning veterans through workshops and one-on-one assistance. Guy is a trustee of the Baltimore based Digital Harbor Foundation, and a managing member of Oxpoint Holdings.
