The digital side of Dunbar Armored was first envisioned spring of 2012. This past year has been a flurry of activity, building a new team, designing innovative security solutions, and adding a new chapter to the history of entrepreneurial excellence at a nationally recognized Baltimore based brand. Our goal has been to change the way people think about security by bridging the gap between physical and cyber. Seeing new technology paired together with nearly 90 years of knowledge in risk management is incredibly exciting.

Chris Ensey is the Chief Operating Officer of Dunbar Digital Armor. With 15 years of experience working in systems integration and information security, Mr. Ensey combines domain knowledge with strategic vision. Under his leadership, Dunbar Digital Armor delivers cutting edge products and services to address cyber threats to the financial, retail and commercial industry.Throughout his career, Mr. Ensey has held positions that have put him at the bleeding edge of information security. As Director of Government Solutions at SafeNet, Mr. Ensey was responsible for government market strategy, providing in-depth technical and business expertise with regards to cybersecurity and risk management. At IBM, he served as Principal Security Strategist for IBM Federal. He advised IBM's clients responsible for protecting sensitive government networks and critical infrastructure. While at IBM, Mr. Ensey was also a founder of IBM's Institute for Advanced Security, a thought leadership hub for global issues in security. Prior to IBM, Mr. Ensey held other technical roles such as Sr. Systems Engineer at BEA Systems, Deputy Software Development Manager at SAIC, and Integration Lead at Digital Systems Resources. This diverse background includes development projects on submarine sonar systems, mission planning systems for unmanned aircraft, and frameworks for analysis of classified intelligence data.
